saikapathA brief rundown of Saika
Anri is possessed by the demon blade Saika. Saika is a persistent voice in her mind, a blade that needs to love everyone. Unfortunately, the only way a blade knows how to love is by cutting. Being possessed by Saika will come with proficiency with the weapon (as well as the persistent voice of the blade needing to "love"). Anri is only able to control Saika because she, herself, is unable to love, and doesn't feel the need to spread the blade's love. The blade is able to hide itself within Anri's body and she can withdraw it from any part of her. While using Saika's power, Anri's eyes turn red.
Saika has the ability to possess any person cut by the blade. Those cut and possessed are able to live their lives normally, but she's able to control them when she wants and they refer to her as "Mother" while under Anri's control. Those possessed are able to act independently as Saika, so long as they're aware that what they're doing is something "Mother" would want. When not being directly controlled, Saika's daughters are not aware they're being possessed. Within canon, there is an unlimited amount of baby Saikas, and her control is absolute. They are also able to make more baby Saikas with any blades they acquire.
HOWEVER IN INTERSTELLAR, it is nerfed it down to one baby Saika at a time, with control lasting no longer than 48 hours, and no ability to make new Saikas from other blades, with obvious player permission and a ton of ooc communication regarding the blade.
Anri will NEVER cause someone to harm themselves, or anyone else except for in defense. Anri will NEVER misuse her powers to the best of her ability. She's very responsible with them, unlike some Saikas.

Date: 2016-01-18 10:15 pm (UTC)Though I feel I should note, Bill isn't exactly a being that knows how to love either : \ does this mean the influence wouldn't be as strong on him (like, should he be able to regain his senses back quicker than usual? Could he stab himself to snap out of it prematurely, ect?)
Alternatively, we could just ignore that for the sake of storytelling, (we could say being human is teaching him slowly but surely to ect.) and tease him about it mercilessly later.
